AM-1 Vane Anemometer measures the air velocity. Accurate to within 3%. Large liquid crystal display is easy to read.
Anodized aluminum impeller spins on jewel bearings and is protected by a sturdy housing. replacement impellers are inexpensive and easy to install. A hard slip-on case protects buttons, display and impeller when not in use.

If your application requires exhausting of the filtered air to the outside or into a duct system, our outside vent adapter kit makes it easy. A simple conversion to the blower unit provides for conversion to a standard 10" x 3 1/4" flange which then can be adapted to almost any size ductwork. A 5" diameter adapter is included. Please specify if your requirements is different.

Lighting
LK-3 A state of the art LED strip lamp is available for illuminating the inside of the HS-5000 workstation or SL-30 Containment Hood. Mounted behind the hinged door just below the blower unit the lamp provides the equivalent output ot a 60W incandescent bulb. Operating voltage is 110V AC and a switch to the left of the strip light turns the lamp on and off.

When natural light is inadequate we can supply a light mounted outside the enclosure. The light kit is made of aluminum and powder coated white with a LED fixture mounted inside.

LK-4 Gooseneck Lamp-For applications where a microscope is used in the HS-5000, a state of the art dual LED gooseneck lamp is available. The lamp incorporates a heavy base with built in transformer, on/off switch and a dimmer control, operating from a 110V AC supply. The two 18” long gooseneck lamps can be comfortably routed around a microscope stand and positioned to illuminate objects under the microscope for optimal lighting conditions. Alarms
Loss of efficiency due to blocked filter may prevent adequate face velocities from being achieved. The BF-1 Blocked Filter Alarm monitors the pressure drop across a HEPA Filter and provides a visual indication when the filter is 75% blocked and due for replacement. This option is mounted inside the blower housing and must be ordered with the blower or the blower unit must be returned for retrofitting. BF-1 Blocked Filter Alarm applies only to filter installations using HEPA only or HEPA with Prefilter - Accessories
